After numerous attempts I was finally able to connect the softether client to the server only after finding a youtube video. I setup two test computers, one computer running the softether vpn server and another computer running the softether vpn client software. If I recall correctly in the same post (or another) Kong said after we get the server working all we need to do then is export out the configuration out of server software and copy and paste it into the softether vpn tab on dd-wrt. A few weeks someone mentioned on the forum that Kong has softether vpn integrated in his builds. Just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with this.
